AT RISE: Go Ahead and Be Embarrassed Then

.

AT RISE: Mom and the kids are pulling into the parking lot of Walden Pond.

MOM: Look kids, I want you to know this is not just a beautiful destination. It’s also historically significant. A man once made a home here and became a hugely influential American writer. All I’m saying is, I would be embarrassed if you never heard the name ‘Henry David Thoreau.’

CJ: [Starts hollering from the backseat.] Well you better go ahead and be embarrassed then, because *I’ve* never heard of ’em!

MOM: Fair enough. [Parks car.]
