Mal and Becca are The Pineapple Project

Had the privilege of bringing the kids to a library show of a colleague/friend, Mal, who performs “The Pineapple Project” with a co-creator & performer. It’s about two children playing together and navigating their gender roles.

With charm and innocence they decide that Batman can fly better with fairy wings, Barbie can be “super” with a cape, they can be a Pirate Queen or a “Fancy Prince” if they want to, and tutus are fit for any occasion.

#HellYeah!

Thank you Mal, Becca, and Cambridge Public Libraries!
