Missing the Bus… and Other Parenting Negotiations

Monday, September 9th 2019

On this day. Boy missed the bus. It was such a pleasure to help soothe his nerves and assure him that we ALL miss the bus sometimes!  And at the risk of rewarding the behavior I was able to get some breakfast in him (remains above).  It was a very sweet morning.

Parenting has been so interesting and fun as he’s started becoming a Junior Highschooler. (!)  To sublimate the nag, I’ve been writing him notes lately to underscore directions.

So far they’ve been well received.

Onward we go.
