At Rise: Marital Bliss

Wednesday, September 25th 2019

AT RISE: Two strangers in the night somehow find each other under the covers for a moment of pre-dawn, marital cuddling in the dark. The endorphins start to flow, they each exhale. Somebody farts, and no words are said, but there is a sudden “Bump… flutter-flap” from the floor. It is the unmistakable sound of an errant cat who *just* decided to jump down from the bed and fan the air with their ears real quick.

BOTH: Laugh.

[Still no words are said.]

And… SCENE.
