In MY book, Gavin and ClaraJane are both on the nice list!!! (Can Santa not prnounce “ClaraJane”?)
And you know what, everybody learns to read, just at their own pace. Miles and Gavin got off the bus yesterday with a plan — to go to the bookstore! They bought books in the same, new series, and are having a “read-along”. Like Gavin, Miles is now reading for pleasure! I think Gavin helped inspire him, and Amanda has been diligent about Miles half-hour daily reading. He read his new book, Rapunzel’s Revenge, to his mother yesterday at bedtime.I think this is a real milestone, breakthrough for Miles. And it’s nice to have a buddy to inspire and read along with.
