May 2016
Having learned the Tae Kwon Do form “Chung- Ji” as a white belt, Gavin earned his yellow belt and is now tasked with learning “Taegeuk Il Jang” (which I just found out means “Heaven and Light“):

Some terminology:
“Taegeuk” is another way to say “Tae Kwon Do.”
“Poomsae” is another way to say “form.”
A Poomsae or form is the choreographed set of moves almost like a dance that helps teach students how to use their kicking, punching, blocking and proper setting of stances.
Holy smokes; 18 amazing steps in 3 minutes, 47 seconds.
Taegeuk Il Jang STEP-BY-STEP [18 Considerable Steps in 3:47]:
More to come.
