After relenting and putting on a video for our boy today, my mom mercifully assured me on the phone, “A video is better than fighting.”  Regrettably, “fighting” -with my 3 year old!- is one of the ways in which I sometimes eek out a SINGLE minute in order to supposedly “work.” Or perhaps if I’m lucky, complete “a thought.”   (Yes, we are *still* working on getting him into preschool; can you tell?!?)
