At Rise: AARP

Wednesday, March 12th 2025

(I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything here. We are all as fine and well as could be imagined, especially in the face of the devastation that’s happening on a national and international level. But now; back to our regularly scheduled program of sublime in the mundane.)

AT RISE: Momb is at the dining table in DESK MODE, opening mail; Gavin is getting ready for school.

MOMB: I dunno should I join AARP?

GAVIN: What’s AARP.

MOMB: It’s this organization you can belong to when you get older.

GAVIN: Oh the one where can get discounts and stuff?

MOMB: Yeah… but I’m not ready to identify that way yet. And also they’re only offering a *tote bag* this month, so maybe I’ll wait.

GAVIN: Yeah, they need to throw in some Werther’s… [Leaves fro school].

MOMB: [Throws head back in belly laugh and randomly pulls out blog for first time in several years.]
