AT RISE: Have You Seen My Slippers

Friday, October 2nd 2020

Feet may be larger than you think.

AT RISE: It is morning in the Distance Learning Environment. Boy is at his desk waiting to show Mom something on his computer. Mom is shuffling distractedly around the house, uncaffeinated as of yet.

MOM: [Muttering to herself.]. Noooo! Dang it!

BOY: What’s wrong?

MOM: I can’t find my comfy shoes OR my slippers!

BOY: Here! [he says helpfully, extending out both feet wearing slippers.]. Have yours!

BOTH: [Laughing.]

SCENE.
