Much as I am conflicted to shit upon my own beloved blog, to help preserve my sanity I am saving here below a *sample* of the kinds of exchanges I sometimes engage in with supporters of the unmitigated nightmare that is our incoming “president-elect.” To a large degree I have given up on even trying to keep the kids updated on what is happening, since every day is a new horror show whose details are either to lurid (“golden showers” in Russia) or unthinkable (repealing healthcare with no replacement) to explain.
But for historical purposes I do want to preserve a snapshot of what the social-political climate in this country has become. This is not recommended reading, so if you don’t want to get depressed, skip it!

Note: I am neither proud nor ashamed of my conduct on this thread. I believe the tyranny and hostility and baseless claims of the trump-trolls requires nothing less than being called out for their bullshit and demand for substantiation of their otherwise baseless claims.
